Hi, I'm Henry.
I AM GOING TO REWRITE THIS PAGE I HATE IT RIGHT NOW IT'S SUPER SMUG FOR NO REASON BUT I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME LEFT IN MOONRABBIT DAY 2022 SO THIS WILL BE DONE TOMORROW THX
This is my website. I'm glad you stopped by.
I am a high schooler in Seattle, Washington working on a video game, blog, and subduing my colossal Steam game backlog. I love art, adventuring, small animals, and probably more things too! On good days, this website is a place for me to collect and talk about the stuff I'm making, and on bad days it's a place to loudly proclaim empty self-imposed deadlines to shame myself into working. If you want to chat in between blog posts, join the artsy Moonrabbit Discord server and we can trade ideas! (Or just find me through any of the accounts linked below.)

What are Moonrabbits?
I'll give you one guess. Actually, only half of them live on the moon. The other half live on a secluded island in the Pacific with really bad reception (which is why I am their official human ambassador). Attending United Nations conferences is getting very un-fun very fast and I would really love an apprentice to do all that for me while I ship merch and get my name written in history books. BLESSED
I discovered Moonrabbits at summer camp in between first and second grade when I heard a girl (name unknown but she really should be getting credit for the empire I've built) telling a story about a cake her uncle and grandpa were making for her grandma's birthday. The story goes they didn't have any birthday cake decorations so they just stuck little plastic rabbits into the frosting and gave them little laser guns, which they had apparently. The details aren't important. When they were done the space rabbits on the white round cake looked like they were on the moon! Moon rabbits! I must have been pretty bored at camp because I became instantly enthralled with the story and started drawing little rabbits all over the place. On sheets of paper, on my arms, on tables, on babies' bottoms... and I never stopped! Some might say it's unambitious to focus on the same world and creatures for the majority of your life, and to them I say... I am easy entertained. And have you seen history teachers?
What's the game about?
What is this, an interview? I'll tell you... but only because I was going to anyway.
The [UNNAMED MOONRABBIT PROJECT] is a conversation heavy top-down narrative adventure, set in the woods near your house. It's a semi-autobiographical story about a group of young explorers and how individual problems and insecurities stress their friendships. With layered characters and branching dialogue inspired by the likes of Firewatch, Adventure Time, Undertale, Superbad, and Kentucky Route Zero, I'm setting out to tell a story about navigating difficult relationships, a missing protagonist, and getting lost in the forest. You can read more about the game by clicking the "Game" category on the homepage. rewrite this paragraph lol it's bad

I used MCProHosting to host the old Minecraft server from 2016 - 2021 and I can't recommend it enough. If you just want a world to play in with your friends, yeah, Realms will probably get the job done, but if you're looking to get just a little more hands-on with your server MCProHosting has really good support and is just generally fun to use.
I use Weebly to make the website (yeah, I'm a fraud, sorry) and I would only kind of recommend it. Look into other options if you don't want to have to do any coding... there's a lot of weird little things Weebly doesn't give you great control over unless you're willing to get your hands (paws?) dirty.
I sell merch through Teespring and it's pretty great! It's robust and definitely an upgrade from the old Cafepress store but the design editor still kind of sucks.
Some of the (worse looking) art on this website was made with PixilArt, which is a pretty good in-browser pixel-art editor and what I was using before Aseprite, which is much better for anything you're serious about and also twenty bucks. I draw all my pixel art in it now.
Thank you Sloan (Uncle Gary) for all the CSS help and thank you Dad for all the feedback + site testing!
